Inatech at the OAUG Connection Point conference

Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) has just hosted, a very successful, third annual OAUG Connection Point conference – alongside OAUG Middle East, in Dubai.

Chris Gough, Inatech, presented at the event, as well as Inatech exhibiting. Gough’s session covered how to use a cloud based build and development server to manage the Continuous Build and Deployment of Version Controlled 11g SOA components into multiple environments.

Attendees were able to sign up for one-to-one conversations in the ‘Meet the Experts’ forum - on specific topics with various Oracle leaders – including Oracle’s E-Business Suite Strategy and Development teams, and Oracle’s Applications Integration Architecture product management team. Dubai provided a wealth of experience just waiting to be tapped in to by attendees from various areas of business, including IT managers and CIOs.

Speakers ranged from Keynote presentations by Cliff Godwin, Senior Vice President, Applications Development, Oracle Corporations providing an update on the E-Business Suite product line, to Dan Stevens, Solix presenting a Case Study on how an Islamic Bank Managed Data Growth through Database Archiving. Oracle Apps customers were shown how Dell is ‘Changing the Game’ for them and Google Enterprise described how high quality search has become the ‘dashboard for action’ amongst enterprises.

The annual conference, as always, was a huge opportunity for attendees from the financial services, media and communications, and retail, (to name but a few), to get up close and personal with the people behind their applications.
