Selling the legwork and cracking down on outsourcers

Predictions, expectations and advice are coming in thick and fast for the IT industry in 2009 and outsourcing is the journalists key target.

• Get outsourcers to do the legwork – they say

• Renegotiate outsourcing deals – they advise
• Cut costs, outsource –
they promote

All well and good for a company like Inatech, especially having launched a new package available worldwide aimed at reducing costs, fixing costs and managing work efficiently to maximize business during tough economic conditions.

It seems the fear once placed in outsourcers and as an action only intended for the financially capable is coming to the masses. People cannot get enough.

The worldwide downturn will affect the
growth and margins of companies – however if using dedicated, focused, talented and experienced IT specialists money will be well spent. Inatech looked at cost when it was most important and we are in a position to be able to confidently provide the services we actually offer.

Existing suppliers will be
caught in a price trap as customers demand price reductions when deciding to onshore or offshore.

As
Martyn Hart puts it at Computerworld UK: “The credit crunch will force management on both sides to focus on cost and suppliers will need to have innovative solutions to either maintain existing end users or competitively bid for new contracts.”
