2011 - a year of opportunties

As 2011 kicks into gear, it’s interesting to think back on what’s been learned in the last 12 months and what’s ahead. One of the most popular IT happenings, that no one can escape, is the world’s desire to share online – and the business community has well and truly opened their doors to the social network.

A construction company recently asked us for IT systems that were Facebook-friendly – only a couple of years ago such a move would have been unheard of, particularly from this type of business. 2010 was the year that removed the line – personal and professional data have merged together, seen as a way to strengthen a company, not hinder it. And 2011 will see the most forward-thinking companies make use of the new found opportunities for commercial gain.

2010 was the year of the cloud. But even the cloud could not ease up the search for key documents, which resulted in ECM (enterprise content management) products and services flying out the door. The users wanted simplicity as industry demands grew – and businesses saw the benefits of improved efficiency and less stress.

2011 promises more change – it’s the only constant. And Inatech is stepping up to the challenges to help find opportunities in new IT developments as they continue to shape the world.
