New Oracle Templates for a Virtualized Database

The new Oracle VM Templates are, as of last week, now available. The pre-installed and pre-configured software images give the customer a virtualized database at their finger tips. The Templates are quick, easy and consistent in the deployment of a software stack – fully configured; and virtual and cloud environments, fully enabled. Management is simplified, the approach, innovative.

Thanks to the new Oracle VM Templates, Oracle Real Application Clusters can deploy a database cluster quickly and simply for development and production areas on Oracle VM. Combine the Real Application Clusters with Oracle VM for x86 and we have a database cloud solution, easily within reach, with everything you would imagine a fully virtualized cloud environment to have.
