Oracle pushes on with release of Primavera Portfolio Management 8

Amid the excitement of Oracle’s release of the updated EPM Suite, there has been another new offering of the Primavera Portfolio Management product.

As part of Oracle’s recent onslaught of new releases over the past few weeks, proving that it is ready to up its game, PPM was released on 6th April. The new update allows managers to compare a project’s progress against historical data and projected milestones in a bid to improve accountability.

Joel Koppelman, senior vice president and general manager of Oracle’s Primavera Global Business Unit, said: "Organizations are under pressure to ensure that they are not only spending money on the right things, but also flawlessly executing on those investments. "With the launch of Oracle's Primavera Portfolio Management 8, Oracle is effectively delivering an enterprise portfolio 'GPS' that gives organizations the information and capabilities they need to optimize both the selection and management of any type of investment."
