The recession and its aftermath has put enormous pressure on the maritime sector across the board; from producers to traders and brokers, from buyers to regulators and to financiers. Those working in the maritime sector are faced with the challenge of tackling the crucial issues affecting the maritime market and how to bounce back as the sector gets back on the road to recover.
Here at Calsoft, we’re just as eager to study the sector and its changes and come up with positive solutions that can help the industry move forward. That’s why we exhibited at the third Bunker Fuel Management Conference in Dubai on 9th and 10th February.
During the exhibition, the Calsoft team explored issues such as the high cost of alternative fuels, quality control, and operational and commercial difficulties, all by using our Bunkering and Fuel Management software.
The Calsoft team met with ship owners, fuel suppliers, bunker traders, chartering companies and a whole host of other key stakeholders. We shared ideas and discussed the most pressing issues in bunker fuel management, optimisation of shipping operations and more.
The event gave Calsoft a chance to showcase some of the success stories of our customers who have used our Bunkering and Fuel Management software, using delegates from various companies based in MEA, Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific who were more than happy to demonstrate the software’s advantages.
