Following our success at the recent Oracle events held in Belgium and Dubai, we took a progressive leap forward by participating in the “OPN Days- India” event held in Bangalore at Chancery Pavilion. The event came as an eye opener with key participation from various Oracle partners located across the Silicon Valley. The theme of “OPN Days” was targeted and addressed for all Oracle partners trying to leverage on the latest technology offered by Oracle.
The event started with strategic key notes delivered by Mr. Kaushik Mitra, director for Oracle channel sales practices, India. The session set out with a clear projection of Oracle’s concept in terms of completeness, openness and integration. A quick note on the recent acquisitions Oracle has successfully secured and the future road map in terms of amalgamation and takeovers was well depicted.
The subsequent sessions addressed by other delegates including Kulbushan Chand, Sunil Iyer & Pradeep Moondra threw light on benefits of contributing to the partner network program and how a partner gets rewarded for remaining a reckoning force in the area of technology and development. With clear transitions of Oracle thoughts, the event highlighted recent developments around Oracle technology and practices. Regarding the economic downturn, the event also highlighted various programs and sessions Oracle has created. This includes sessions like week long boot camps and night camps conducted by Oracle to which a partner can enroll from across the globe.
The event also showcased the potential business opportunities lying in the Indian market, predominantly comprising of commercial segment i.e. SMBs. The vision framed by Oracle, turns out to be a yardstick to measure the instant success achieved. Oracle’s vibrant force is evident with the customers ranging from every industry vertical including Telecom, Automobile, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical etc.
Towards the end of the event, the highlight was to sustain the strategic approach and practices Oracle and its partners has adopted to be the number one in technology segment. By combining with strategic companies, Oracle strengthens its product offerings, accelerates innovation, meets customer demand more rapidly, and expands partner opportunity.
